Founder of YC Dance Academy
I started my professional dance career at 22, training in classical styles like ballet, contemporary, and tap, as well as Cuban and Latin dances such as salsa, cha-cha-cha, rumba, mambo, and folklore.
Over the years, I’ve taught students across the UK, combining my international performance experience with teaching that respects and celebrates Afro-Cuban culture. I focus on making dance simple and fun, while helping students understand the meaning behind each movement.
My goal is to show how easy it is to feel good through dance. When you bring knowledge and intention to your steps, dancing becomes more than movement—it becomes a way to connect, express yourself, and enjoy life.
Now based in Glasgow, I teach weekly classes in multiple locations and perform regularly. With years of experience in choreographing, directing, performing, and teaching, I am proud to help grow Scotland’s dance community and share the beauty of authentic cultural traditions.
Dance is a language—a conversation between the music, the people around you, and yourself. We’re always learning and discovering something new in that conversation. Every rhythm brings a fresh way to connect and move.
It’s about confidently letting your body do the talking. And when it comes to social dancing, it’s like playing a game—sharing the moment, listening to the music, and connecting with others through the beat.
